Overview

WebLogic Administration class is designed for WebLogic Administrators and Operations staff whose roles include: server installation, application deployment, resource configuration, monitoring, tuning or troubleshooting.

Objectives

At the end of WebLogic Administration training course, the participants will:

  • Configure WebLogic domains
  • Manage WebLogic using the Java Management Extensions (JMX)
  • Use the WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST)
  • Configure JNDI resources
  • Establish connections to databases using JDBC and JNDI
  • Deploy applications and troubleshoot deployment issues
  • Ensure high availability of WebLogic via clustering
  • Troubleshoot WebLogic using the WebLogic Logging and Diagnostic Framework (WLDF)
  • Tune WebLogic performance

Suggested Audience - The WebLogic training course is designed for Oracle professionals who have basic experience with Oracle database and Oracle middleware. Prior experience with Oracle is not mandatory, but experience using Oracle database will be helpful.

Duration - 5 Days

Prerequisites - Participants with exposure to earlier versions of WebLogic or other JEE application servers.
