Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Virtualization Certification

Red Hat recommends becoming a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) before taking this exam, but it is not mandatory.

To help you prepare, here are the tasks you’ll need to perform in the exam. Red Hat may update these objectives, and any changes will be announced in advance.

You should be able to:

• Install Red Hat Virtualization Manager (RHVM) and Red Hat Virtualization Hypervisor (RHVH)
• Set up Red Hat Virtualization Manager to authenticate with an external IPA service
• Install and configure Red Hat Virtualization Hypervisor
• Add RHVH instances to Red Hat Virtualization Manager
• Create and manage datacenters and clusters
• Manage storage, configure NFS services, and set up storage domains
• Import installation media into a storage domain
• Create and manage virtual machines (VMs), including installation and access via SPICE and VNC
• Start, stop, and edit VM hardware settings
• Set up automatic migration for VMs
• Work with VM images, create and manage snapshots, and import existing images into RHVM
• Create and manage users within RHVM, configure roles, and assign access
• Automatically deploy VMs and create VM templates for deployment
• Configure VMs using cloud-init
• Create and manage networking objects, including logical networks and MAC address pools
• Set and assign policies for scheduling, migration, and cluster management

All configurations must persist after a reboot without requiring further intervention.
