The Salesforce Platform Developer II Credential is intended for individuals who want to demonstrate their expertise in the advanced programmatic capabilities of the Lightning Platform and data modeling, enabling them to develop complex business logic and interfaces. Candidates should be able to design, develop, test, and deploy programmatic solutions that are maintainable, reusable, and adhere to design patterns and object-oriented programming best practices.
To pursue this credential, candidates must first hold the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I Credential.
The Salesforce Platform Developer II Credential comprises two components: the Platform Developer II multiple-choice certification exam and three superbadges—Apex Specialist, Data Integration Specialist, and Advanced Apex Specialist. These superbadges and the multiple-choice exam can be completed in any order, and earning all of them will automatically grant the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Credential.
All required superbadges are available on Trailhead. Log in to your Trailhead account or create one if necessary, and start working on the superbadges.

Voucher facts
- There is no volume discount for vouchers.
- There is no minimum or maximum requirement of vouchers per order.
- All vouchers are pre-paid. Vouchers are non-refundable and non-returnable.
- Vouchers expire 12 months from the date they are issued. Voucher expiration dates cannot be extended. The exam must be taken by the expiration date printed on the voucher.
