SpringPeople eLearning Courses have been designed for IT professionals who need flexibility with their education programme - flexibility to pick and choose topics from the curriculum without costing the earth and flexibility to decide when to attend the training sessions. Added benefits include doing away with the need to travel (which in itself can be a massive time & cost saving) and low cost for the individual sessions - all this without sacrificing on the quality or rich experience one can expect from our courses.
Just as with our regular public courses run live, eLearning courses are fully interactive; attendees can ask questions to the instructor or to other fellow attendees - during the class or during the designated Question & Answer slots. eLearning courses follow the same course layout as live classes - theory sessions, followed by hands-on labs, which immediately get reviewed by the instructor and feedback provided. Instructor is able to guide the attendees on industry best practices related to the topic being taught, as well as provide real-world examples on solving problems using the techniques being discussed in the class.
There are no special systems requirements to be able to attend a SpringPeople eLearning course - all you will need is a computer with internet connection and a head-phone. Of course, to work on the labs, you will need your development environment on the computer (usually Eclipse IDE, JVM and Apache Tomcat Server) - all the lab binaries are provided ahead of time for you to download and have ready on your computer for use in the labs. There are no client side downloads and as such, you don't need to worry about any messy firewall configurations or any changes to the system security!
