What is StormRunner Load 2.x Essentials Certification Training about?

This course is a mixture of lectures and online exercises. The online exercises allow you to learn tasks by viewing a demonstration and then completing the tasks on your own, without the need for a physical lab environment.

These online exercises continue to be available after the class is finished for additional practice.

The online exercises were created using the StormRunner Load 2.1. October 2016 release of StormRunner Load SaaS product and include job aids (PDFs of the exercise steps for reference). In addition, instructions are included for requesting a free StormRunner Load trial.

The trial can be used as a live demo environment where students can use the skills and concepts learned through the online exercises to implement scenarios targeted to their own processes.

What are the objectives of StormRunner Load 2.x Essentials Certification Training ?

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

• Conduct a performance test

• Use key functions in StormRunner Load

• Describe the protocols and tools supported in StormRunner Load

• Manage the assets for scripts, monitors, load generators, and topology

• Configure and execute a load test

• Analyze a load test result and generate a test report

This course is designed for performance test engineers who are responsible for performance testing with SRL.

What are the prerequisites for StormRunner Load 2.x Essentials Certification Training?

To be successful in this course, you should have an understanding of your organization’s compliance requirements. Knowledge in Software Testing is recommended, Experience in LoadRunner or Performance Center is optional.
